Technical University of Berlin, Chair of Innovation Econcomics

The in 2006 newly established Chair for Innovation Economics at the Institute for Technology and Management in the Faculty of Economics and Management is endowed by the Fraunhofer Institute for Open Communication Systems. The chair basically studies a broad spectrum of questions in innovation economics, with its main focus on the interrelationships between innovation and standards. Competencies: Standardization and Technological Change/ Intellectual Property Rights/ Product Piracy and Counterfeiting /Open Innovation and Globalization/Innovation Systems and Policy/Emerging Markets and Competition/Innovation Economics and Regulation. Methodologies: Science and technology indicators/ Statistical and economic analyses/ Innovation and technology forecast, foresight metho­dologies (e.g. Delphi, scenario analysis).

Cerna, MINES ParisTech

The Cerna is actively involved in applied research that seeks to answer questions posed by decision-makers in the private and public sectors. So its research projects are carried out in the framework of partnerships involving academics, private enterprises, local and national governments and international bodies.
