The in 2006 newly established Chair for Innovation Economics at the Institute for Technology and Management in the Faculty of Economics and Management is endowed by the Fraunhofer Institute for Open Communication Systems. The chair basically studies a broad spectrum of questions in innovation economics, with its main focus on the interrelationships between innovation and standards.
